    Roger C. Thomas
    DVM

    Dr. Thomas, a native of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, grew up on a family dairy, tobacco, and horse farm. Dr. Thomas graduated from Warren East High School in northern Warren County and from there he attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.  After one year away from agriculture,  he realized his place was close to the farm and moved back to South Central Kentucky to attend Western Kentucky University for the three remaining years of undergraduate studies and obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture Business. Dr. Thomas then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine from 2000 to 2004, where he was an active member of Alpha Psi Fraternity.  After obtaining his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, he accepted a position with Burke Veterinary Services in Hardinsburg, Kentucky.  In November of 2006, Dr. Thomas moved back to Smiths Grove and on January 2nd  2007, he opened the doors to Thomas Veterinary Services (now Thomas & England Veterinary Services).

    Dr. Thomas lives on the family farm with his wife, Deidre, and their four children Olivia Jo, Carson, Roman and Lane Marie.  They have 2 dogs (Molly and Francis) and two cats (Pickles and Sonny).

    In his spare time, he enjoys time outdoors at the lake with his family and watching Auburn Football.

    Travis England
    DVM

    Dr. Travis England was born and raised in Hardyville, Kentucky, a small town in Hart County on his parents' dairy and tobacco farm. He attended Western Kentucky University where he majored in Animal Science and went on to obtain a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. England accepted his position with Thomas Veterinary Services shortly after receiving his degree in May of 2010. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with special interest in food animal medicine and small animal surgery.

    Dr. England resides in Smiths Grove, Kentucky with his wife, Whitney, and their daughter, Millie Kate. In his spare time, Dr. England enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.

    Dr. England's parents , Jimmy and Judy England, still operate the family farm in Hart County.

    Dr. Aaron Duggin
    DVM

    Dr. Duggin was born in middle Tennessee where his family raised beef cattle. As a teenager, he and his family moved to Glasgow, Kentucky, where they started milking dairy cattle. After graduating from Barren County High School in 2010, he attended Western Kentucky University where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Biology. He then received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2018. Soon after graduation Dr. Duggin accepted his position with Thomas & England Veterinary Services. He enjoys both large and small animal medicine and surgery.

    Dr. Duggin currently lives in Smiths Grove with his wife, Odessa and their 2 dogs, Gunner and Belle. In their spare time they enjoy camping and being outdoors.

    Tyler Causey
    Large/Small Animal Technician

    Tyler graduated from Greenwood High School in 2010 and lives in Alvaton, Kentucky with his wife Hanah and daughter Ivy. He is a large/small animal technician at our practice. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys fishing and hunting. He also enjoys hanging out with his 3 dogs Booker- a Beagle, Moo- Retriever mix and B-a Lab.

    Carlissa Ransom
    Veterinary Technician

    Carlissa is a native of Scottsville, Kentucky. She grew up showing registered dairy cattle and working on her family’s farm. She received her Veterinary Technician degree from Animal Behavioral College in 2011 and is a small animal technician here at Thomas & England Veterinary Services. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her French Bulldog named Karolyne. Carlissa joined our staff in 2012.

    Seth Allen
    Large/Small Animal Technician

    Seth was born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He graduated from Greenwood High School then attended Brescia University for two years on a soccer scholarship before transferring to Western Kentucky University where he graduated with a Biology degree and with minors in Chemistry and Biophysics. After moving back to this area he met and married his wonderful wife Christy and together they have two boys, Preston and Fisher. Seth and his family now live in Chicken Bristle, Kentucky with their French Bulldog, Bumbles, Australian Shepherd, Trip, and Irish Setter, Cinnamon. Seth has been with TEVS since 2009.

    Emily Morris
    Small Animal Technician

    Emily was born in Brownsville, Kentucky and graduated from Edmonson County High School in 2017. She graduated from Owensboro Community and Technical College in 2019 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Emily joined our team in 2019 as a Veterinary Technician. 

    In her spare time, she enjoys helping her parents on their family farm, reading, painting and spending time with her husband Trey. Emily also enjoys spending time with all her fur babies at home. She has three dogs Max- a Border Collie, Gunner- a Beagle and Sadie - a Mutt. She also has 2 cats at home - Sophie and Millie.

    Kyla Scruggs
    Receptionist

    Kyla graduated from Allen County High School in 2021 and lives in Scottsville, Kentucky with her husband Canaan and their daughter Bexley along with her German Shepherd- Bandit. She enjoys going to the lake and spending time with her family. Her favorite holiday is  Christmas. Kyla joined our practice in 2021 as a receptionist.

    Hanah Causey
    Receptionist

    Hanah graduated from Lighthouse Academy in 2019 and lives in Alvaton, Kentucky with her husband Tyler and their daughter Ivy. She joined our team in May of 2020 as a receptionist. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter. She also has three dogs that keep her busy, Booker- a Beagle, Moo- Retriever mix and B- a Lab.

  • Emilee
    Emilee Edwards
    Receptionist

    Emilee was born and raised right here in our clinic's hometown of Smiths Grove, Kentucky. She graduated from Warren East High School in 2013. She joined our team as a receptionist in February of 2022. 

    Emilee has a daughter at home named Avery that keeps her extra busy. In addition to her daughter, she has an Australian Shepherd named Lacy and a cat named Millie. Everyone who knows Emilee knows she loves her coffee. No matter what time of the year it is, you will  find her with a cup in her hand. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her daughter relaxing at home watching Netflix and painting.

    Terri Davis
    Office Manager

    Terri was born and raised in Cave City, Kentucky. She graduated from Caverna High School in 1984 as Salutatorian of her graduating class. She joined our team in July of 2023. Terri comes to our practice with over 38 years of office managerial experience with almost thirty of those years at another veterinary practice before its closing in 2023 due to the death of its owner.

    Terri resides in Horse Cave, Kentucky with her husband Terrell. She has a son named Travis who lives in Chalybeate, Kentucky with his wife Courtney and the newest edition to the family, their first child and Terri's first grandchild, a daughter named Korah. In addition to her family, she has a rambunctious cat named Squeaky, a boxer named Marley and a Golden Retriever named Milo.

    Terri loves spending time with her family and especially getting to spoil that little granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband, bungee fitness workouts, walking, shopping and going on cruises.
